Spruce up your guacamole with the Only Parmesan, Parmiagiano Reggiano!
3 Haas avocados or 1 Florida Avocado (I prefer Haas but for this recipe, they weren't ripe) (diced)
3 medium plum tomatoes (diced)
1 small yellow onion (diced)
1 large garlic clove or 2 small garlic cloves (pressed or minced)
Juice of 1 lime
1 jalapeno (seeded and diced) or 1 tsp of crushed red pepper
1 cup of cilantro (diced)
¼ cup of Parmiagiano Reggiano (shredded)
1 tsp kosher salt
In a large bowl, place all your cut, diced, seeded, pressed and squeezed ingredients and combine while gently mashing the avocado. I like chunky guacamole so I do not blend the ingredients together but feel free to do so if you prefer a smoother texture. After combining all ingredients together, refrigerate for one hour and serve with tortilla or plantain chips and enjoy.
